I read this to say VRTS would gain equivalent cash to about $14 per share of our money.

Maybe John Dean (SSB analyst) was trying to say VRTS wrecked it's reputation by being part of such a criminal act.<g>

It was John Dean that recently valued the SEG drive business at over $50/share. Then a few weeks later when a deal was announced that gives SEG shareholders $5 per share for their SEG holdings he called the deal win/win/win. I think he just plays up to these millionaire CEOs so they will talk to him.
