johnd: finally a wise man. Is this company truly
concerned with shareholder and employee value?
If they are they will settle now no matter what.
Nothing the DOJ can heap upon them could be worse
than what is happening to MSFT now. Now if it is
egos; we all lose including the ego'ee's. Are these
guys businessmen or simply self-interested personalities.
We'll see soon.

My guess; they won't settle to the detriment of all
stakeholders continuing to blame the problem on the DOJ and States when it is clearly MSFT management's and board's
responsibility to manage this issue in the best way
to increase shareholder value (which they have not done
to date).
