Tip, though I do measure premiums with models, my main decision point is my homerun factor. As I've often stated here, I like to buy puts and calls for the chance to get multiples of my gamble, er, investment. <g> Leap options have been taboo for this strategy for a long time. Some of the shorter term options have not, and I still have out of the money puts on a few stocks. But the Leap premiums of 30-50% leave no room for a homerun and plenty of room for credit spreads.
