Thanks. Yes, I also do calendar bull spreads. Most of my long term holdings are deep ITM LEAPS and I write front month/near-term OTM CC on them repeatedly. My problem is that a lot of times the stock goes up ballistic and the short-term CC become deep ITM. In this case, I'll usually roll out/up to the LEAPS period (bull spread), take the credit and go on to the next play.

BTW, sideways movement is probably not going to happen soon. Volatility is here to stay. The potential for strong up or down moves makes this a tough market for simple CC or short-put plays. You pretty much have to trade this market.
