If you are not looking for broadband, avoid isps like the plague We agree. Now consider a couple years from now when broadband becomes prevalent. All ISPs will have one form or another and once again they become an uninteresting investment as a group. This logic is what leads me to desire ATHM become more than an ISP. For now, broadband is a feature of this particular ISP which distinguishes them from the rest and provides investor interest... What next?
