I am not a tech guy, but have been following and building a long position in CSCO since the early nineties. All I can tell you is that the stock has always been considered expensive but somehow keeps appreciating. I am not sure I would bet against them.
Juniper competes in a narrow space of the networking sector for now. If you are a company building/upgrading mission critical network components who would you go to?
I would put my money on CSCO. Long term, which company is most likely to be still around? JMHO.
