Maybe it comes from watching these types of stocks for nearly 3 years (rather closely), but I have a strange feel for them.

I feel confident AMD will have a quick run to the $95 mark, but then I think it may stall for a couple of weeks, as a new base is established.

This stall may not happen if the stock rises to $95 on significant volume (avg. 5-6M shares a day over the 2 weeks). If you see that kind of volume, it is likely that stock may keep rising in theory to the $120 mark (probably 1.5 months out).. I would expect if the stock hits $95 and 'stalls' you will see a split as well.
