Tip,

I think you could double that time to build a new nuke plant, not that anyone would be crazy enough to attempt it!

You are perfectly correct but I don't think it will take 5 years for you to be proven right on the money. Real problems could occur in weeks if they can't get the nuclear units back on line after a number of them are out for refueling this May.They are placing a big bet on no problems but if even 3-4 are delayed we are not going to meet the load in the midwest and elsewhere this summer. I have helped plan over 30 major coal and nuclear units over the last 25 years so I have a good idea of how fragile the system is and how vulnerable we have made ourselves with this total focus on natural gas. I wish more people thought like you-- Frank
