Eric: I am not convinced that MSFT will tank the whole market. It might. But what does the fate of MSFT really have to do with the rest of pack of companies propelling the market? Are they also vulnerable to charges of monopoly? Probably not. They may even benefit. However, I do think the employment report on Friday will be a watershed -- inflation, an overheated labor market, and rising prices paid will put the economy in a vice -- Friday it will hurt a lot -- a week from Monday? Severe pain. I don't plan to have any short term stock holdings. Well, except my gold shares.
