Qualcomm should possibly bid for some wireless spectrum in Europe for the same reason it should (possibly) do so in Japan -- it makes sense ! (despite violent objections and worries among some people here)

If the anti-Qualcomm forces are going to "drag their feet," Qualcomm should consider just "going in there" and start doing things.

You know, I have an idea. I'm calling Irwin tomorrow and telling him what a stupid idea this Japan spectrum thing is. He should use Q's money to buy back shares.
