Branding, in the way you are using the word, means to create an illusion of added value, when added value does not exist. ATHM's product is the connection and the means to deliver and present content. That is ATHM's added value and it is no illusion. They have no competitors, other than the ghosts they have created for themselves. Think of them as an IP Mustang Ranch. If you build it, many will come.
