Maurice, a couple of corrections to your corrections:

<<The shareholding is [I think] 42% Loral, 40% GSTRF and only 18% LP partners [including
QUALCOMM at 6%], not < 42% by Loral, 26% by you and me, and 32% by the service providers>>>

Loral's net ownership comes in part from having a big stake of its own in GSTRF common stock....so the non-Loral, non-GSTRF LP partners hold something like 24% I believe.

<<There are 8 spare satellites, not 4.>>The number of spare satellites is 4 in space and 8 (in process of being built) on the ground. Remember, we have 52 sat's in orbit now...a full constellation has always been officially 48, though back in '95 we were told that service could start with as few as 24, and a year ago we were told 36, so maybe the correct number now is really 52 (or 60!) after all.

Great report from Jack Hartmann. Another correction?--

300,000 handsets have been built

Isn't that the number of handsets supposedly ordered by G* per prior 10K's? They're building according to firm orders, I thought. The number of handsets actually in existence is closer to the 50,000 number, right?

Best,
John
