Jman, I tend to think you might be a bit more negative than the market warrants right now, but at least you explain your reaons why and admit you're not making predictions, but pointing out possibilities. I sold half my QCOM and am thinking about the merits of selling antoher 1/4 or maybe all and just retaining a few 02 leaps positions. This is not a happy market and until it feels Greenspan is done raising rates I doubt it will muster the cojones to recover. Cash feels pretty reassuring, besides, if it corrects to the lows again one could pick up anything very cheap. One could make $ trading the volatility except it has no particular pattern established as of yet. Diamond and others are reacting because they're actually scared about it too, I think. Oh well. Don't get into a flame war with them, we actually need good info on these threads, not flames. :-)
