This is a pathetic administration. I cannot believe that they went in and caused the havoc they did to retrieve this boy for his own good. Give me a break. They took it too far this time. I am surprised they only used tear gas and did not set it on fire to run them out. At least thats something. What a pathetic situation. I will at least be making calls to congress on Monday. It may not make a difference but this type of abuse of federal power for political motives is down right evil.

this should have happened (without all the show & force) months ago...would have prevented a lot of trauma for a little boy. my 14 year old sez "they should have returned him to his father in cuba the minute he got here...and best believe that if the same thing ever happens again that is exactly what they'll do."

now the question is how long will they drag out getting father and son back to cuba. as the administration has been saying for months...it is simply about father and son...very easy for most people to relate to

Migawd, look what this Dalrymple is doing to the child - dailynews.yahoo.com

Stuffing him in a closet, setting up a confrontation ... maximum trauma right to the end.

The other fisherman, Sam Ciancio, recognised the inevitable primacy of paternal custody and recommended that Eli n be released to his father peacefully, avoiding trauma.

For this he was told that he 'would never again walk the streets of Miami'.
