reresentment against achievement
I see it in schools now too, as a teacher. (My daughter noted when she took her son in to the kindergarten signup day that all the teacher talked about was "at risk" children. My daughter finally said, exasperated, "What about gifted children?". The teacher basically said that they could look after themselves!!!!!!)
What worries me about this resentment attitude and how it affects our investing, is this: if the vendetta against Philip Morris and Msft and IBM is the future of all successful companies, do we have to factor in an enormous legal expense when trying to figure out if we are comfortable with the revenues and profits of our companies?
