imo there is no excuse for the delay in getting dad and son together. agree with you that all this was unnecessary. what happened this morning was the inevitable result of delay in what should have been done the day elian got here

The exiles were the ones who said this would be like Waco. The family could have peacefully handed over Elian last week. Any need the Feds felt to carry weapons is because of THEM. THEY DID IT. THEY ARE TO BLAME. Reno and Clinton did an exemplary job in all of this. We should all be very grateful for their patience and level heads.
