The above makes one wonder the timing deterministic characters of Crusoe, but non the less, one of the Crusoe chips is targeting the thin client market with a WebPad. Why do you think that a consumer-grade, PC-like, device require a hard RTOS? From the performance stand point, no one seem to have problems running Navigator or Explore on the various desktop platforms. Khan
