hey doug, now that you've discovered system tools in win98, i'll repost this jim seymour article. it should make more sense now. zdnet.com it's also cool to follow the embedded link in the piece to a previous article of his that deals with another tool, version control manager. all located right there where you went. i also like his quick launch bar coverage. i kinda' stumbled upon the quick launch bar after reading his article. funny how something can be right in front of you, but if something else has your interest, you may as well never have seen it or read it! have fun :) mark
