Thanks Peter, I tend to keep an eye on what is coming out of NT&T. They are pouring billions of dollars, trillions of yen, into further enhancing the i-Mode phone, the most successful tech rollout in history. It currently is a 9.6Kb/s system, as I recall and the developers are rapidly advancing on a 64Kb version. Should be exciting to see. As it turns out, the users are not concerned in the least that the 9.6K displays are technically funky. It's the content that has them enthralled. Amazing that this phone, actually a natural progression from the Tomogotchi for Japanese teenagers, should be the engine of so much change. Truly the technology of the next generation.
