LG, a pox on both sides. If what you say is true that the mother left the dad, then in Cuba there is no way she would have gotten custody of the boy.

LG....you hit the nail on the head. I live in Miami and I am sick of hearing all these cubans exploiting this cuban boy.I mean you can't even get a reporter from the local news to ask any of these supporters tough questions. They are all to afraid to and its a disgrace. Unfortunately having a bunch of idiots as city officials who support this families' kidnapping of this boy and trying to politicize this situation made it even worse. Miami is the biggest embarrassment to all the world by just the behavior of the family and all these arrogant ungrateful cubans who take advantage of their freedom and don't follow the law. The fact is that an overwhelming majority of americans supported the government in its stance towards this situation and the family got what it deserves. Nobody wants to see a child being taken by force, but after waiting far too long, the government had no choice. The family and the cuban community are the ONLY reason this all happened. I mean who can EVER question that a boy shouldn't be with his father??? I don't give a rats ass where the father comes from. The bottom line is that if the family had followed the law, this child would have NEVER experienced what happened today.
