That is why the forward PE may be 50 and not 60 or 70 for MSFT. Some discount for the uncertainity. Though Balmer at Washington last week when asked about the 140 lawsuits, said they "do not matter". Remember that he is the conservative one. johnd -- agreed the 1.88 is the low end of earnings as things stand,, how much are the 140 law suits going to take of that plus how much more over the next 5 years or more...
