techtonic, that is what MSFT wants. Don't need to convince me otherwise. I am not sure if MSFT will get it. Wall street has acted both ways in the past. Several times MSFT's doom & gloom was followed by counter intuitive sharp UP moves in stock. The mutual funds control the direction - they may say there is demand acceleration from PC OEMs for AMD and Intel and it is time to take position when retail customers are selling. So if you are short; Take judicious action.
