MH that helps tremendously. Thank youvery much. One question though:
The coupon is 11.375%. Therefore, many believe that G* will not be able to service this debt, thus the high risk assigned to it. (YTM is 50% on a Coupon of 11.375%)
My understanding of a coupon is something you cut off, and turn into a bank for payment (coupon bond) - so if I bought the bond you described I get paid interest how often?
Secondly, I think your other point is 11.375% for 4 years is 50%, right?

Could you clarify those two things, and thanks again.

Best,
Jeff Smith

One little quibble on the bond info:

"You need to buy in 100 lots (100 bonds x ($1000 par value trading $366.80) = $36,680 Approx."

Actually you don't have to buy in lots of 100 bonds. Anything above about 10 bonds at a time should be OK -- this may depend on the particular broker. (I just bought 15 of the 2005 bonds a few days ago.)

It should be kept in mind that these bonds are not traded on an exchange, but rather over the counter. Price quotes may be unreliable, and you can expect to pay a pretty substantial spread. Still, I think they are a good bet.

OK2Launch, thanks for posting the tradebonds.com URL, pretty nifty site.
