Hi Dan3; Re Rambus and Intel... I can hardly wait to read the tell-all books from behind the scenes. There has to be dozens of people who are just outraged at all this, and one of them is going to talk to an author. But my guess is that senior management, when faced with contrary opinions on the technology, chose to lean toward a decision that would also make Intel money on the investment front. Figuring out technology is hard enough, putting your thumb on the scale makes it hard to accurately weigh things. -- Carl
