mindmeld, I believe that LU had PAID the price and is now back on track. Chambers is a good man, but believing that the optical effort from Pirelli will outpace Bell Labs is truly wishful thinking. That being said, LU still needs to execute in their plan. LU did announce a billion $$ in new optical contracts within the last quarter alone. To take that lightly is simply foolish. In addition to internal development, LU has established relationships with a number of start-ups in varying degrees of OEM agreements that can hopefully become part of the LU portfolio. I believe that they will wait for their currency t be a little cheaper before doing this.

On a side note, what is Cerent doing about ATM? Does anyone have the technical knowledge of this product to help? Thanks in advance.
