Too Cool, sandintoes...! So, there's more to the name than meets the 'eye', aye...?

That's really interesting...I am geologically challenged-

[and was wondering about this stuff...the "stuff" of silica, the stuff of the 'neural' network]

Is a 'silicate' mineral...like a type of glass?

Are 'rare earth' metals really metals...like 'heavy metals'?

Does 'rare earth' mean what it implies...rare minerals?

Can you believe how 'metal and glass' can mimic our neural tissue...or whatever is exactly happening...my mind boggles.

I know that gadolinium is a contrast agent for mri...its actually a metal...??!

Whoa.

I'm still trying to understand electromagnetism...
