Edward, not just high tech, we still do a lot of our high tech here. But if you look at mondane things like textiles, toys etc, these labor intensive products are no longer produced at home. We still produce a majority of the IP and innovation that goes behind the high tech business, leaving the labor intensive parts (yes, including many semi fabs) to migrate to cheaper labor countries. I think this is quite healthy.

And which industries are most UNABLE to tap into the international labor pools? Medical Care Delivery, which is suffering worse inflation than nearly everything else!
I think you guys are really on to something here.....
