I usually have great respect for your opinions, so I would be interested to learn what makes you say this.

One thing I've learned through this mess, being on the receiving end of a lot of hostility from my husband, is that a misunderstanding of what the law truly is, and the facts truly are, in this matter, is cause for great confusion, and hostility. I guess being a lawyer is a terrible thing, but at least I know what the law is. Like it or not, the law must prevail. "Hard cases make bad law."

I guess you are not happy about the result, and therefore you criticize the process. But perhaps that is unfair.

Actually, now that I've thought about it a bit more, any person who could actually say "Janet Reno's need to prove her manhood" isn't likely to communicate with me on a level I can comprehend, so I retract the question. Enjoy yourself.
