Anyone on this thread ever have problems with overheating k-6 IIs? I have a k-6 450 that about a month after purchase began causing the heat alarm on my Asus P5A mb to go off. Finally solved the problem my moving a jumper and reducing the speed to 400 mh, but now have a slightly slower computer.
Any ideas on how to solve this (such as with a high performance fan)?
Will K-6s for desktops be made available in 0.18 microns for the upgrade market?
