From what I've heard the Cubans are so sick of this soap opera...

Castro instantly found plenty of money to build a monument to Elian but they can't fix the gaping potholes in the streets. And most of the demonstrators in Cuba were probably in it either for the free teeshirt, or else it was gently suggested that they show up. Besides, the Elian's dad had applied for the visa lottery a little before this all happened! Why doesn't Klintoon just give him the visa now that he's in the US?

What a comedy, but then again, what else is new?
