Vol - I may temporarily get out of the Q.

That is what has been playing on many peoples minds os I hope you won't mind me asking you to spell it out in detail.

For instance get sell on the open on Monday? Or sell a bit on the open and then driblle the rest out or what?

And do it without hesitation or wait just a little to see how the market settles.

I thought that after earnigns like the Q had and what it did after hours on Tuesday that it would recover to $140+. how wrong I was it took a couple of hours and back in the same mess. So eventually many like you feel thats it and time to call it a day and sit back and watch till some kind of stability returns but timing is important here so thats the call.

Best regards,

L

Hi Voltaire,

I feel this Microsoft earnings number selloff will be a non-event. Overall, the earnings for the tech sector has been excellent(SUN 35% revenue growth). I agree with you about NTAP because it is a real growth story that can only get better.
Prediction: Analysts on Monday will issue positive comments about the tech sector and its direction. NAZ will have a good day!!! This might be a minority opinion, but it is my feel and I got my money betting on it. Don't Forget, the big boys will be back early this week after the Passover and Easter holiday.

Hope I am right

I see the FED now with contradictory monetary policy now

A. they hike rates in face of tight labor market, heavy continued retail spending, >5% GDP growth, thus restricting what they see as unsustainable growth

B. they add liquidity to the stock market underpinnings, in form of S&P/NAZ futures contracts, thus creating a floor to prevent a stock panic

the FED openly declared last late autumn to be adding liquidity to the system as Y2K unfolded... now they are reversing that policy, and must balance contradictory measures as they bring the reverse to an end

what a tough job
rather than "unsustainable" the growth is more "not understood"

Thanks Voltaire, What strike prices and months do you like for NTAP? I assume you will sell out on Tuesday or later on strength for QCOM and get back when there is great news on HDR, NOK, China and etc....

I am also interested in storage companies like NTAP and EMC. I read some where that in the future; using OC-192 between the storage devices will eliminate the need for routers. Thus create great opportunities for OC-192 companies and storage companies like EMC and NTAP.

Once I find the link, then I will post it.

Look forward to your suggestions on NTAP strike prices and months.

David

RE: NTAP

I guess this guy thinks it's going a lot higher. Furthermore, I think NTAP just got a new analyst of the spiritual order.

Voltaire, I am copying a post that you did on Dec. 31, 1999; you stated that Angels would tell you when to sell QCOM. Are your Angels telling you to get out of QCOM temporarily?
or for the final time. Previously this was a 5 year hold.

TIA, David

THEY WILL ALSO TELL ME WHEN I SHOULD SELL QCOM FOR THE FINAL TIME- My feeling is we have at least a five year hold here.

Hi Greek Trader,
I feel like you are sincere in your question. Mine came to me when I was about 6 yrs. old after a beating by my father for going to church, and they told me they would always lead and protect me and they have. I know that sounds corny but the one thing I have found with them is, never deny them and that is my reason for telling. No one has ever asked before in an open forum so there was no reason to tell. There are people on this thread that can vouch for my Angels many many times and they are stunned and so am I. Mine speak to me in acts of irrationality. A good example was when I came down on Diamond for practically no reason at all after going out for drinks. He is one of the classiest guys on the thread. That is what they do, if they are wanting to change or improve myself they will go to the extreme and that was a good example, it tore me up for two days. What they were telling me was to change on the thread and try to get people to quit fighting and I needed to change my demeanor also, which I have tried to do. But you see in order to get my attention they had me come down on a guy like Diamond so I would regret it so bad I would quit fighting and I have. I am convinced that everyone has them but people fight them. THE KEY IS TO RELAX AND IT ALL COMES TO YOU AND THEY DEMAND FAITH, ABSOLUTE FAITH!

Voltaire

P.S. - I have to always give them credit. Not only did they lead me to DELL, AOL, QCOM, plus BCST, RNWK, they also told me when to sell them. THEY WILL ALSO TELL ME WHEN I SHOULD SELL QCOM FOR THE FINAL TIME- My feeling is we have at least a five year hold here.
