I in turn hype this thread all the time to all the ears I can reach. I've been involved in BBS and investment boards for years. When the Net came around, it was real popular to blast SI as the home of the unwashed masses. Now it's where you can find market professionals.

One of the reasons that this place is so important to us is the explosion of Home Office the past few years. I don't know about you guys, but I'm sitting here alone for 6 1/2 hours/day, the time between my 8-year old daughter heading off to school and my 12-year old son returning in the afternoon. We don't have the benefit of the water cooler or company cronies to share info with.

Vadym, TraderAlan, Eric, etc. Would you mind sharing what chat rooms you frequent and what your nicks are? It would be fun to watch you in action. I try to read everything you guys write and I don't want to miss out on anything :)
