Long-term I am not concerned about capacity gluts at all. The advent of usable broadband applications on the Internet will require HUGE amounts of bandwidth for everybody.

I really can't think of any communications device apart from IRID where capacity was built but never used. This is not like the numerous failed interactive TV projects; we know that everyone will be using the Internet in growing amounts.

Short-term, buying communications bandwidth could be a choppy ride.
