Christian lore and legend has it that the original Resurrection that is Easter took place April 23, 33AD. Today is the first time Easter has been on April 23 since.

Thanks for the Happy Easter interlude ... 'twas appreciated.

The first Easter after my mother retired from elementary
school teaching at 65, she said that it was probably the
first Easter in her adult life that she didn't dye eggs
for an Easter egg hunt. She was pretty dutiful about
that sort of traditional thing, both at her school and
at home when we were kids. I remember the straw baskets
filled with plastic green grass that we used to collect
the colored eggs.

Happy Easter, croc!!
We are back, and let me tell you--the land of DAR is far more real (and far more attractive) than Las Vegas Blvd!
What an utterly strange place-- but interesting for a weekend!
The Three Tenors were wonderful- impossible to describe what it was like to hear the three greatest tenors alive all in one show. And Friday night we saw the most incredible performance called Blue Man Group. Ammo no longer wants to be a marine biologist or a writer; he wants to paint his face blue and drum on PVC pipes.
Glad to be home.
