i have a question, david

when you say, "W98(se) ie too prone to crashing", how are you categorizing IPF's and GPF's? asked another way, do you attribute browser crashes to the operating system? or both? for instance, if the "illegal operation" is in netscape.exe, it's obviously browser, whereas kernel32.dll is os?

i like to separate them according to what action i have to take to recover. if i merely close the browser and reopen it to continue, i don't think of it as an os stability problem. otoh, the infamous blue screen of death leaves no question.

your thoughts?

:)
