Poet, protective puts ae a good idea, as you know, but be careful about overdoing QQQ puts. There's a lot of bearish sentiment out there right now.

Poet,

I had sell orders at the bid that the MM's didn't fill but instead redid the bid/ask quote.

They were for orders of 20 to 40 options. It seems they are supposed to fill at least the first 10 per exchange rules.

It looks to me like some of the exchanges are putting up fake bids hoping to get a market order that they then fill at whatever they want.
