The family, lawyers, and president of University of Miami were there on the phone "negotiating" with Janet Reno. Nothing like being deceived by our government.

Don't know why Donato was there, maybe lending moral support?

Yes, good point, why were they all dressed at 5:00AM. Was the event staged? Were they aware of the raid? In situations such as these, both sides want to save face and come out looking like they won. In the dawn raid, the family looks like they are victims and as such are martyrized and the Feds look good because they got the child back in a clean swift operation with no violence and no injuries.

Hmmmm....we are all intelligent people here (I think) let's not be gullible and believe everything that is fed to us. Be open-minded and keep asking questions.

They were negotiating all morning. They knew a raid was imminent. Nothing like observing the law. The feds sought a court order last week and they were denied. Still, they charge in. Lots of laws and regulations don't apply to federal agencies.
