Maybe. I would also say that if the child were Haitian or El Salvadorian, the child would not have become a political pawn. Maybe, also, if Marisleysis were married and had children of her own, she would not have clung so desperately to Elian.

Dear CR: For what it's worth - which is a splat in a waterfall - I find your conduct in your past several posts astonishing. You have admitted to having come from a vulnerable information base. Most, if not all, folks I every now and then peer in on, would never fess up like that. They would much prefer sticking their indexes up the nose or in the eyes of their opponents.
