A story on Drudge today pointed out the amazing thing that in the photo of Elian, smiling with his father 3 hours after he was returned, had twice as much hair as in the photo of when he was taken into custody. Either that or one of the photos wasn't kosher.

There won't be a lack of photo coverage this week. Wait until Oprah and Sally hash it out. The soccer mom community will be outraged! Even Cokie Roberts, a soccer mom icon, was visibly upset this morning.

Why do you say armed confrontation was inevitable? What do you base that on? That seems to be the administration line. The only dangerous things in that house were the religous statues.
