I'm neither prepared nor capable of being a doctor in the frozen north of Canada. Wouldn't be able to practice anywhere else. "...why not just look at the trends and probabilities" Life here is still pleasant enough provided one is not murdered. And, there is still some probability (indeed a small one) that I may escape and the Lord takes me before some indigenous thug does. There is also a glimmer of hope --- the overall incidence of HIV/AIDS in the sub-continent is about 20% (estimated at 5 m cases in SAf) with an incidence of up to 50% in those who are likely to do me in. So, the Lord may get them before they get me! Happy Easter.
