When I was an itty bitty baby my mama would rock me in her arms. Wait, I was between 6 and 12. Anyway I stayed with my granny for a month during the summer each year.

She had about 5 acres in a small (pop 300) village. Out the back door were sugar baby water melons, next was the grape arbor and then was a really pretty horse shoe shaped area of tall bushes with a 10' wide ring of raspberries around the inside.

Across the back road was Doc Langs place. He had apples. That was his hobby. And ponies also. Broke ponies and ate apples although not pony apples. He had a pond where we fished and swam. One day 6 of us went in skinny dipping and 5 came out. First time I had seen a dead person when they
got him in the grappling hooks and he was a friend.

On the other side lived the Montjoys. I helped collect the eggs, helped milk the cows and scratched behind the horns of the cows where the flies bit. Saw life in an egg when it was held in front of a light.

On the third side was the mailman. Nice guy, lived with his mother. She was into strawberries big time and he was great with wood making very nice furniture. Used t watch him and he explained every step.

On the forth side there was a kid 4 years older than me. He wanted me to suck his cock. I avoided him like the plague.

Cokes were a dime for a milk shake glass full. I had an account at the drug store 'cause I went down town to get my granny's mail and the mail for 4 other people.
