gc - The cost of upgrading to 1xrtt and then to 3G is much higher than to 3G directly ??? 1XRTT meets the requirements for First Stage 3G. See my note to Peter. But why do you believe that the cost to move from 1XRTT to 3XRTT (3X meeting the requirements for final stage 3G) is much more than the cost to move from first stage DS to final stage DS? Or are you just saying vendors should wait to final stage 3G before deploying anything? It's going to be a long wait. Clark
