<< The image that will endure for years will be of the US that was forced to use force to extract a son ... >>

You really think that? Hmmmm!? Sorry, I seemed to use a word that could not possibly apply to you. <g>

<< If you lived among the nations of this planet you would understand that our species places a very high value on the relationship and rights of parents and children. >>

Now I really have to apologize to you. I have missed all those notes, of yours, condemning Cuba for their laws that say that the Cuban government owns all children, and forces them away from their parents. I also missed all those notes of yours condemning Castro for separating thousands of children from their parents and not allowing them, EVER, to see each other.

I must have missed all those notes, right. Hmmmmm!? But..... what notes, of yours, did I read? Hmmmmm!? Notes harshly criticizing those who took care of Elian when he was in serious condition and couldn't even walk, because he was so weak. OTOH, I must have missed all those notes of yours criticizing Elians father for not giving a damn for months, while others nursed Elian back to health.

Damn it! I have to apologize to you. You obviously care about the relationships and rights of parents and children! <g>
