Hi Jeb,
The only threat from Castro is that he is old, paranoid, may have Alzheimer's, and could just open the doors, and let all the dissidents leave Cuba for Little Havana in Florida. My, wouldn't that make the Republicans and hard-liners happy. No, they are not that crazy, I hope. Not enough profit in it.

Casto has already used the boat bargaining chip before. Remember a few years ago he let a large number of prisoners, and mental misfits leave and they flooded Florida. We quickly made a deal with him to stop the huge wave.

I would love to see a free, and liberal Cuba. Having said that, it is very dangerous, to have an armed, radical, dissident group of Right Wing Cubans; have a foot hold in Florida.

They have been allowed to intimidate the moderate Cubans. You never hear a moderate voice. There is fear in the Cuban Community. They are living under a form of Fascism. You either follow the policy of the hard-liners or lose your job. They gave up one type of political oppression, only to force another on themselves. This must end.

Casto is their problem not ours. The oppression of freedom of thought, in Fascist Little Havana, is a major part of the problem.

It is past time for our leaders to sit down, and come to terms with Casto. During the Cold War we built a "hate" machine, and now we don't know how to turn it off. We had better learn.
