re: sphincter cleanliness I hope you're correct, but we may be encountering a few factors we haven't seen much of the past few years. (1) Inflation looks like it's really trying to establish itself. It's not like that imaginary phantom we've gotten used to over the years. (2) Microsoft uncertainty in legal and growth. (3) NASDAQ PE was much higher at the start of this correction than for other ones. These sorts of things might swamp your otherwise accurate model. :-)
