Snowshoe,

A number of people on the E groups WIND thread were asking for information regarding who WIND was presenting to during the early April road show. Since the question was never answered to my satisfaction, I called WIND IR at the end of last week to find out. WIND presented its information to over 25 investment concerns---many of them large mutual fund houses. Some of the bigger names included in the show were Solomon Smith Barney, Massachussetts Financial Services (MFS), Fidelity Investments, T Rowe Price, Scudder Investments, Oppenheimer, John Hancock, Neuberger Berman and Mutual Securities. A positive is that WIND feels it has reached critical mass where it can begin explaining its story to some of these large investment concerns.

I am glad to see the activity level increasing on this thread and look forward to getting most of my WIND information right here. I appreciate all the regular posters here. Even though I was not a shareholder when you left---welcome back Allen.

Regards, Huey

WIND management has never revealed the exact language of the I2O contract with Intel. We know that WIND gets roughly $1.25 per I2O unit now, but will this hold up as Intel ramps production into the (hopefully) many millions?

It looks to me like you already renegotiated it substantially. Where did you get the $1.25?

Of course you are right. Any contract could be renegotiated as conditions change. But it doesn't matter. The I2O market has finally entered the high-value phase. Re-read what I said about how Intel and WIND are positioning themselves in this market. The expectation is that WIND will begin to see rapidly escalating ASP as new products enter the market. In the future, only a small portion of the proceeds will derive from IOP royalties in accordance with the current contract.
