Thankyou for the URL re-Sunday Times article from the UK.
A must read for the individual investor to become aware of
the dishonest practices, ie. conflicts of interest and collusion on Wall St.

Kevin,
That is a teriffic link, and I appreciate your posting it. I am one of the individual investors burned by major brokerage hype, and I would like some recourse. We know that there is a lot of pumping and dumping on the boards, but most investors have been taught to rely on research by august names such as Goldman, Merrill etc.

I showed that link to a fellow investor. Here is his response :-)

> That story reminds me of a scene from the movie "Casablanca":

> Prefect of Police (Claude Raines): "This place (Bogart's) is closed until further notice!"

> Cafe owner (Humphrey Bogart): "Why?"

> Raines: "I'm shocked! Shocked to find there is gambling going on here!"

> Croupier (to Raines, while handing him wad of money): "Your winnings, sir."

> Raines: "Thank you."
