Here's one clip: GARDEN.COM IN BLOOM HEADING INTO KEY SELLING SEASON Garden.com reported better-than-expected fiscal third quarter results results, with revenue of $3.2 million and EPS of $(0.65) aided by a 30.3% gross margin. More important were management's bullish comments on early reads of the gardening season and the success of recent marketing initiatives. We are particularly encouraged by management's plans to pursue content syndication and see this shift as an opportunity for Garden.com to grow into a leading eConsumer Omnibrand. While we believe news of such deals could highlight a clearer path to profitability, we fear Garden.com stock may not react until they are announced. Since the company's proprietary content and back-end solution should be valuable to a wide range of partners that are interested in the high-end gardening customer, we don't expect to wait very long to see evidence that this strategy is paying off.
