I think msft less about trial lawyers than it is about no-nothing state attorney generals making political hay with wealthy political supporters and competitors to msft. These are politicians--not real lawyers--and certainly not folks who have an interest in the national economy. Will be interesting to see when they run for office the next time, whether their opponents and the voters punish them by not electing them due to the voters' loss of wealth.
