Long termers, MSFT will buyback some 100 million shares here, will appeal, will win appeals and will report 60% EPS growth in calendar 2001 from the new product cycles. Then we will look back and say what a great opportunity it was.

Dear johnd:

Be Careful~ This government, including slick willie, uncle janet, jj and the 19 dwarfs et al are
OUT OF CONTROL!

They will do anything, in the name their justice, their law.
their rights to SEIZE your property.

The Gonzalez boy is belongs to them, MSFT belongs to them,
EVERYTHING belongs to them.

THIS IS A BAD TIME TO DO ANYTHING WITH YOUR CASH, EXCEPT HIDE IT FROM THEM.

abbigail <:(

I still don't understand the put warrants. Why does the Board need to approve it now? If they sold put warrants, the other party will make the choice whether to put 161 million shares to MSFT. The Board has no choice but to pay 12 Billion of its cash to buy the shares. Am I missing something??
